JFK ceremony at Dallas' Dealey Plaza will be held come rain or shine
A ceremony commemorating JFK's assasination will be held at Dealey Plaza on November 22 at the area where JFK was shot. The program features noted historian David McCullough as principal speaker and musical numbers by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Club
A ceremoney will include a military jet flyover and a moment of silence at 12:30 p.m., the exact time that JFK was fatally shot in his motorcade on Nov. 22, 1963. The event is limited to 5,000 individuals. Tents and umbrellas will not be allowed at the 90-minute observance to honor JFK’s life and mourn his death.
